This summer’s blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick was a worldwide success, and now audiences can see it at home.
The Top Gun sequel, which has made well over $1 billion globally, will be accessible to watch starting on Tuesday via Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, and other streaming video-on-demand services.
Starting on August 23, viewers may see Top Gun: Maverick on Paramount+, and those in the West Coast can watch it on Amazon Prime Video as early as 9 p.m. PT, when it will be available for digital purchase for $20. The original Top Gun movie is also available on YouTube Movies & Shows, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play.
It’s important to note that the original Top Gun movie is only free to view on Amazon Prime Video through August 31. Otherwise, you may purchase it digitally starting at $13 or rent it through the on-demand video platform for $3 and higher. You can also own the disc.
Top Gun: Maverick can be streamed on Paramount+ for $5 per month for the ad-supported Essential plan or $10 per month for the Premium option. You may save 16 percent when you pay for your membership annually ($50 or $100, respectively). Top Gun is a free seven-day trial for new subscribers to Paramount+, which is also accessible through Amazon Prime Video channels ($10 per month plus the $15 per month Prime membership price).
The Paramount Network’s films and original programming, such as the first Top Gun, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Mike Judge’s newest Beavis and Butthead series, the Yellowstone prequel show 1883, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and more from the sci-fi franchise, The Godfather-inspired show The Offer, Halo, the Emmy-nominated RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, and others, are all included in both Paramount+ plans. Additionally, subscribers get access to Paramount feature films including The Lost City, Django Unchained, Scream, The Fighter, and more, as well as films from BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, and the Smithsonian channel.
However, only the Premium subscription enables you to stream on up to three devices, establish profiles for other family members, watch live sports (including March Madness, Champions League, and NFL games), enjoy imitated advertisements (only on live TV and select programmes), and save some episodes for later viewing.
You may use a virtual private network (VPN), such as ExpressVPN, to access your Paramount+ account if you’re outside of the United States. You may access high-speed servers in 94 countries with this service, which costs $7 to $13 per month, while maintaining the privacy and security of your data. Find out more here.
