The Men's College World Series has been arranged, but the team that everyone expected to see in Omaha did not arrive.
The indisputable No. 1 team in the country, Tennessee, was defeated by Notre Dame in the
super regionals in Knoxville, resulting in a wide-open field for the national title. The eight
teams are divided into two four-team double-elimination brackets, with the champions of each
bracket advancing to the best-of-three finals, which will commence on June 25. All games will be
broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2 and will be accessible to watch on the ESPN App. The first
round of the NCAA tournament begins on Friday, with Oklahoma facing No. 5 Texas A&M
(ESPN, 2 ET) in the opener and Notre Dame facing No. 9 Texas (ESPN, 7 ET) in the nightcap. On Saturday,
Arkansas will face No. 2 Stanford (ESPN, 2 p.m. ET) and Ole Miss will face No. 14 Auburn (ESPN2, 7 ET).
