PGA Tour Winner Tom Weiskopf Dies at 79
Weiskopf, 79, passed away on Saturday at his Big Sky, Montana, home, according to his wife.
In December 2020, he received a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Tom was reportedly working at The Club at Spanish Peaks last week, and he also attended a legacy
luncheon at a club where he is creating a collection of his ten best par 3 holes, according to Laurie Weiskopf.
Tom Weiskopf won the Open Championship and won 16 PGA Tour titles.
Later in his life, Weiskopf gained fame for designing golf courses, contributing to or building facilities
like TPC Scottsdale, Olympic Club, Silverleaf Club, Troon North Golf Club, and Yellowstone Club in Montana.
