Tampa Bay Lightning Defeat NY Rangers in Game 4

The Tampa Bay Lightning won Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final against the New York Rangers 4-1 

on Tuesday at Amalie Arena, ending the series at 2-2. With a goal at 2:38 into the first period, 

Pat Maroon gave Tampa Bay the lead, and Steven Stamkos scored in the third. Ondrej Palát had 

two assists and an empty-netter with 8.7 seconds left in regulation for the Lightning, while Nikita 

Kucherov had a team-high 21st playoff point with a breakaway goal in the second period that 

proved to be the game-winner. Andrei Vasilevskiy, the Lightning's goalkeeper, made 33 stops in the 

victory, his most in the series. The Lightning and Rangers will meet again 

in Game 5 at Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
